Unique vacation rental home in Bass Lake with boat slip in Brier Dock Association. The dock is a five-minute walk from the house. You can not swim off the dock, there is a small beach nearby with picnic tables. Max boat length is 24 feet for the boat slip. FREE WIFI, 3 BD, 3 BA with a living room, pool table in a converted garage, large living room with easy access to the well-appointed kitchen. This house is halfway between the popular Falls Beach and The Pines Resort. Boat Launch at the Pines.

Good to know

Guests can experience the splendor of Bass Lake in the summer with the lake a short walk down the drive and across the main road. Experience it like a local with the use of the homeowners private boat slip and access to the popular Brier Dock association. Dock area is very close to house and can be seen from the deck. House is located half way between The Pines Resort and The Falls Beach. There is a nice deck with a charcoal grill to suit every grilling enthusiasts needs! The garage has been converted to a game room with a pool table. The ample seating is perfect for hanging out and shooting a game of pool. The kitchen has premium appliances and everything you need for entertaining. Just add food and friends. The cozy living area is set up for relaxing together. There is central heat and large swamp coolers, standing fans and ceiling fans to ensure comfort during the hot august nights. Freshly laundered sheets, made-up beds, toilet paper, soap and towels will be ready for your arrival. Guests will need to bring beach towels. Pictures may not be EXACT as we are constantly making upgrades to the property.

Other Details to Note

The parking is tight and the driveway is a single narrow lane that goes steeply uphill. Please do some reconnaissance before driving up with any large boats or trailers. You can park a trailer and truck. You will just have to disconnect. Also keep in mind our home is located in the mountains. There is local wild life we have no control over. Leaving the front door open while unloading can alow time for something to run in. There is also a local bear. So all trash must be secured in the bear resistant trash bins in the yard near the road. We also pay for routine pest control. But spider webs can pop up overnight. Our housekeepers try to keep them knocked out. But again we have no control over nature. Thank you for your understanding.

House Rules

The Management fee is refundable as long as the rules regarding trash and recycling are followed. There is a local bear that will get into the trash. We have a bear proof can on the property. The lid has to lock into place correctly or the bear will be able to get into it. NO recycling should go in the black bearproof bin. The blue recycling bin is just for recycling, NO TRASH. If trash is placed in the blue bin the bear will knock the bin over and make a mess. Recycling items are glass, aluminum, plastic and cardboard. Within 5 days of checkout the $100 will be refunded, once my housekeepers have confirmed the bear didn't get into the trash. If the bear did get into the trash the $100 will be kept and given to the housekeepers to clean up the mess. This property has a boat slip but NO boat launch. To launch your boat you will need to drive 1 mile to the pines marina to launch. Must sign covid entry form if not vaccinated. Must not exceed occupancy, quiet hours are 10pm to 7 am CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS Check out is 10 AM Please take all trash out to receptacles on the street. Please load and start disheswasher. If it isn't too much of a hassle, please place a load of dirty towels in the washer and start it for housekeeping. Make sure the boat dock key is back on the hook on the fridge. Please leave windows cracked open and swamp cooler on for the housekeeper. Please lock all doors.

Neighborhood

This is a quiet residential neighborhood with houses very close on all sides. It is imperative that guests are polite and obey quiet time, parking & occupancy rules other wise the neighbors will be calling immediately! If you try to sneak in a pet, overload the house or are loud we will immediately get complaints.

Guests will have access to entire house except for a couple of locked closets and the storage under the house.

Rustic cabin! Super cool! Short walk down to the lake with picnic tables and room for the kids to play. Plenty of room to sleep. The place is huge. Pictures don’t do it justice! Loved it! Beds are big and comfortable. Bbq works excellent. All the kitchen utensils you could think of. Pots n pans are stainless steel might need a few extra larger pans to cook with. Nice pool table and gathering area downstairs. Bring a speaker to enjoy a night playing pool! Absolutely would stay here again! 5 ⭐️

We had so much fun at the lake and Arista's house was the perfect place to enjoy our stay. Beds are very comfortable, house has everything you need, and walking distance to the lake.
