Other Details to Note

NO PETS. In booking this property you agree not to bring a pet. The owner is severely allergic and can not have pets in the home. Also keep in mind our home is located in the mountains. There is local wild life we have no control over. Leaving the front door open while unloading can alow time for something to run in. There is also a local bear. So all trash must be secured in the bear resistant trash bins in the yard. It is a large green dumpster. Located to the right of the garage. Make sure lid is closed and locked properly. We also pay for routine pest control. But spider webs can pop up overnight. Our housekeepers try to keep them knocked out. But again we have no control over nature. Thank you for your understanding.

The cabin was perfect for what we needed, which was a place close to our friends and family who live on Bass Lake. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, although we were only there to sleep.

We enjoyed our stay at Arista's cabin. It was close to Oakhurst restaurants and Bass Lake. The drive to Yosemite from the cabin was breathtaking! I hope to visit again and would definitely seek out Arista's place for another stay!

our family stayed here during the month of March and there was some snow .. it made the neighborhood look magical. the inside was warm and cozy. we went for a walk in the neighborhood and explore the yard and we felt safe and comfortable. The cabin was nice and spacious for our five guest. We had a 4 year old and he was not bored for even one second. We walked on the lake, hiked a near by trail and ate at the near town restaurant.

My boyfriend and I visited with our children and his mother. It was a beautiful stay in a lovely neighborhood, had your basic kitchen needs, and plenty of space. Do note that it’s best to do your shopping before your stay, closest store is 15 minutes away. Definitely worth the stay, or family enjoyed our stay and Arista was always in communication!

This was perfect even though it was just my son and I. only 10 mins to Oakhurst and 30 to the Yosemite South entrance which we did the 5 mile hike through the giant Sequoias. I highly recommend and will be staying here again... guaranteed!!

Arista’s cabin was great! It’s about a 30 min drive to Yosemite and there are grocery stores/restaurants 10-15 mins from her place! She responded promptly to any questions we had! And it’s a great spot for star gazing!

This place was so lovely. It's a cabin so it's not the most updated, but it really hits the cabin feel, was peaceful, and Arista was fantastic to work with. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful cabin! We had a great stay. Saw buck and fawn and even two coyotes in front of the house. It’s clean, spacious and fully equipped. Would definitely book again if we are in that area. Host is quick with responding and very friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this little gem! We found the cabin to be charming, clean, and very comfortable. Arista provides all the cabin basics one might need for a trip to the Sierras or a visit to the lake. In addition, she is super friendly and very helpful. I'm so glad we chose to stay at her place, I look forward to staying there again in the future for sure!
