Other Details to Note

Also keep in mind our home is located in the mountains. There is local wild life we have no control over. Leaving the front door open/garage doors while unloading can alow time for something to run in. There is also a local bear. So all trash must be secured in the bear resistant green trash dumpster. It is located at the end of the driveway on the right. Please make sure lid is closed and if there are chains that they are secure. We also pay for routine pest control. But spider webs can pop up overnight. Our housekeepers try to keep them knocked out. But again we have no control over nature. Thank you for your understanding.

House Rules

There is a local bear that will get into the trash. We have a bear proof bin on the property. There is a chain and lock on the bin that has to be completely secure and locked or the bear will be able to slightly open the lid and pull out trash. NO recycling should go in the big green bin. The blue recycling bin is just for recycling, NO TRASH. If trash is placed in the blue bin the bear will knock the bin over and make a mess. Recycling items are glass, aluminum, plastic and cardboard. There is a security camera on the property. Front deck, motion sensor activates recording. audio and video recording on 24/7. No outdoor fires. if you're bring a pet there is a limit of 2 max. no pets on the furniture. pets are not to be left inside or outside the house unattended. Check out is 10am or earlier. Please take all trash out. Large green ben is for trash, no recycling or cardboard. Blue can is recycling. Please load and start the dishwasher. If it's not too much of a hassle please start a load of towels in the washer. Close and latch all windows and exterior doors.

Our family really enjoyed the home and ample room! The home has everything you need to BBQ, cook, relax and unwind. We also love that this home is pet friendly!!! Arista is a very responsive host and I really appreciate her communication and accommodations. I will definitely consider this home whenever I come back to visit Bass Lake or Yosemite.

The house was very peaceful. The kitchen was just wonderful. The living rooms were roomy and comfortable so the 10 of us could relax and enjoy a movie. We saw turkeys wandering around. It was very exciting for my great granddaughter.

Arista’s please is awesome. We just had a wonderful weekend and we’d love to stay again there on future visits to Yosemite. Location was the best for entering on the South Entrance. Arista was communicative and helpful but also let us enjoy the place, perfect balance.
